No time like October

October has been especially good to Wisconsin this year.

Warm days, cool nights and an historic Brewers team have given this slow slide into autumn a welcome boost.

Even the cranberry bogs around here have dressed themselves up for the season.

What a joy it’s been — and we still have three jam-packed days left.

We’ll watch our Brewers tonight (hopefully for the last time this season), we’ll cheer on our Packers tomorrow night and we’ll wrap it all up with Halloween!

Let’s Go Brewers!

Go Pack Go!

Happy Halloweek!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

How cool is this cranberry bog, all dressed up for the Brewers?
The ring dance sculpture looks beautiful this time of year.
My neighbor Julie’s ghost display looks eerily similar to the ring dancers. Ha ha.
It’s been an especially gorgeous October around here.
I love a naturally framed view.
Caught this friend staring at me.
I love the way this pier extends toward the placid river and fall colors. It seems like a picture of possibilities. Let’s Go!
