Lambeau Ladies a deux (Round Two)

Our youngest Lambeau Lady came back to town this week, along with her mom and dad.

She’s been keeping us company these past few days and, of course, we’re having a blast.

Meanwhile, we’re gearing up for another round of book signings and appearances in support of our new book and podcast, Lambeau Ladies: The Boundary-Breaking Women Behind Lombardi’s Packers.

Our new shipment of books arrived too, so we’ll have plenty on hand. They should also be restocked now at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, the Packer Pro Shop and various other independent book stores around the state.

Next week, we head to Milwaukee for appearances with WTMJ’s Kristin Brey, and on the Morning Blend. Look for us there on Wednesday morning.

Then, on Game Day, we’ll be on WFRV in the morning with Stacy Engebretson and then on Local Five with Millaine Wells and Lisa Malak. We’re looking forward to sharing more Lambeau Lady stories.

Later on Thursday, we’ll be at Bosse’s Tobacco and Book Store from 3 to 5 p.m. to do a book signing at DePere’s last Farmer’s Market of the season. Pop in and see us there on your way to Lambeau!

We’re wrapping up Thursday with a little tailgate and the big game. Go Pack Go!

On Friday, we’re going to Mauston for a book talk at Hatch Public Library. That will take place at 1 p.m., and then we’re driving due east for a 6 p.m. appearance at Uncorked Book Lounge.

Saturday, we’ll be at the Central Wisconsin Book Festival, which should be lots of fun. Our book talk will be at 11 a.m. at the Portage County Library.

We’re wrapping up our mini tour at Boswell Book Company in Milwaukee at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

On most of our stops, we’ll also be joined by two original Lambeau Ladies — my mom, Peggy Kostelnik and Dana Caffey, the elegant wife of Packer Hall of Fame linebacker Lee Roy Caffey, so you’ll get to hear more stories of their time as Packer wives during the 1960s.

Thank you so much to all of you who have already read our book and/or listened to our podcast.

This whole project has been a labor of love.

Here’s the Caffey family on picture day back in the 1960s.
And here we are with the Caffey family at a Packer tailgate a few years ago. From left to right that is Jennifer Caffey Hoffman, my mom Peggy Kostelnik, my sister Kathy, Dana Caffey and me.
I took this picture of my mom and Dana Caffey in 2024 at Cherry Starr’s Celebration of Life in Birmingham. These two original Lambeau Ladies will have some great stories to tell.
And, here are my husband Vince and me with our littlest Lambeau Lady, who will also be joining us on our book tour next week.
