Our newest family member lives thousands of miles from all of us. Still, before she hits her two month birthday, she’ll have met nearly the whole immediate clan.
We are a determined relay team of baby lovers.
In fact, even as her grandpa’s plane took off following his stint, little Laura June’s Aunt Molly’s plane landed.
And the family text chain reignited with adorable pictures of the two.
Molly gets to spend a week playing with one niece, and then she’s heading directly to New Jersey to hang with two more. Baby-times are the best.
After that, Charlie is popping over to LA for a visit and then, after Charlie leaves, his brother Vinnie arrives for his baby snuggle time.
In a perfect world (or at least my perfect world) we’d all live in a big compound and where we could roast s’mores every night and pop into each other’s kitchen for morning tea.
But, since we’re scattered from coast to coast, I’ll content myself with a busy family text chain full of people who go to great lengths to welcome the newest member in.
