This week we celebrated National Siblings Day by saluting sisters, especially ours.
Here’s to the toe painters, eyebrow pluckers, sweater sharers, glass raisers, belly laughers, truth tellers, cookie dunkers, advice givers, movie raters, book reviewers, theatre goers, tea sippers, football followers.
Here’s to the girls who roll their eyes, but have our backs.
Here’s to our mother’s daughters, our daddy’s girls. Here’s to the girls who call us up and call us out.
Here’s to the godmothers and bridesmaids, guardians and friends.
We salute the childhood sharers and smile wearers, the head nodders and joke fodders, memory makers and vacation takers.
Here’s to the ground strokers, free throw chokers, spiral throwers, skull rowers, ball hoggers, slow joggers, hang gliders and wave riders.
God bless the sisters, the links in the chain. Keep safe the sweet ones, protect them from pain.
Here’s to the sisters, the coolest we know. They uphold tradition and make families grow.

What a great tribute to siblings Molly. Lots of prayers will be said for you sister. I will add her to my list. I do believe there is nothing more powerful then prayer. I have rosary’s all over the house. We know each other through Charlie & have never met, but please let me know if there is anything your family needs besides prayers. You may want to stop by Starbucks on Northland for a great cup of coffee. Keep the posts coming. I love them.
Thanks Kathryn. I appreciate the prayers and kind offers even though we have not offically met:)
Thanks for visiting and liking my post today. I love your tribute to sisters, and I wish your sister, Kathy, well as she battles this awful disease.
Thank you so much Dianna. She’s a fighter.
Thanks for liking my post this morning!
