Yesterday marked the glorious juxtaposition of our two favorite seasons here in Wisconsin — Christmas and Packer season.
Thankfully this year, we can give our full attention to both.
Sunday our peaking Packers gave us 55 reasons to celebrate. From the time we arrived (three hours before kick-off, thanks to an overzealous driver) through 28 first downs, seven touchdowns, 460 offensive yards and seven sacks, we enjoyed every minute we spent in icy Lambeau Field.
Today we’ll bake, shop, wrap, tidy, cook, set, fold, pray, carve, eat, sing, worship, unwrap and laugh as part of our traditional family Christmas Eve celebration.
Snow blankets the ground outside our house, which makes the Christmas lights shine extra bright. We’re tucked in all together, a logistical triumph as our children grow older and scatter.
Our Packers are cruising toward another play-off run.
We wish all of you a similar moment of joy, thanks to a magical holiday more than 2,000 years old.
Merry Christmas from Molly and me.

Thanks Kathryn. Merry Christmas!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas, but being Pats fans that’s as far as I can go. 🙂 Enjoy your holidays.
Hope to see you in New Orleans! We enjoyed the last time we played you there:)
