We like it! Hey Micah!

We weren’t sure what to expect at the Packer’s season opener this year, given the recent addition of our $188 million dollar man.

Would Micah Parsons make us better? Stronger? Faster?

Like the little kid in the Life Cereal commercial back in the 1970’s, we might even have been a little bit skeptical of such a pricey addition.

On his first play from scrimmage, though, good ole No. 1 ripped through the line of scrimmage, forcing Detroit quarterback Jared Goff to threw an incomplete pass. From our bench seats in Lambeau Field, we all cheered our approval.

The Packers rolled on from there and, surrounded as we were by Lions fans, we could not have enjoyed the day more.

The tailgate! The flyover! The weather!

What a day!

Jordan Love found 10 receivers! Josh Jacobs scored a touchdown in his ninth straight game! Edgerrin Cooper had 12 solo tackles! The Packer defense sacked Goff four times!

Mike McCarthy got a standing ovation when he and his 2011 Super Bowl championship team were honored at halftime.

Meanwhile, by the fourth quarter, the Lions fans behind us were calling for their new coaches to be fired.

It’s just one game in a long and grueling season, but yesterday at Lambeau felt like the kind of fresh start we’ve been craving for a long time.

Let’s go!

We had a great group of family members for our first tailgate of the season.
Vinnie and Grandma Peggy rocking the game day colors.
A flawless flyover.
All in all, a great day at Lambeau!
With a great seat mate!
