The night we George-napped our neighbor

Monday night we George-napped our neighbor and spent a fine summer evening entertaining the lad.

It had been a while since we’d searched for piggies who’d gone to the market, and George gamely offered his toes for a round or 27.

He peeked, and we a-booed and we all got a good chuckle out of that one too. In fact, if we may say so ourselves, George thought we were hilarious. We took a nice long walk, introduced him to some friends, and enjoyed a cold drink on the porch.

Our own baby turns 18 soon, and seven days later she leaves for college. How nice for us, then, that we live in a neighborhood lively with chubby-toed babies and kind people who share them.

Molly Snapchatted this picture of Vince and me waiting impatiently for our little friend to arrive.
George Arthur was a prince.
He rolled over and, when we clapped for him, he encored. Bravo!
He’s a chuckler, just our type.
Got your nose!
We’re cutting a tooth.
I mean, come on! How cute is that little mug?
