Nothing Bundt good vibes and sweet treats

On a rainy Thursday in Appleton, I stumbled into one of Appleton’s newest confectioneries and found myself surrounded by good vibes and sweet treats.

Appleton Bundt House smells like your grandma’s kitchen on a pie-baking Saturday, and it feels like home.

A friendly staff seems to embody inspirational sayings scattered across the walls.

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

“Believe you can and you are already halfway there.”

“Imagine with your mind, believe with your heart, achieve with your might.”

The bakery specializes in Bundt cakes of all sizes and many varieties. I chose three of their Bundt delights — single serving sized cakes that look festive and delicious — strawberry kiss, carrot cake, and lemon love.

The cakes came with instructions and their own forks, which meant they almost didn’t make it home. I behaved myself, though, because these cakes were not for me. I bought them for my friend’s birthday and I have to say cute little Bundt cakes are a very festive way to say Happy Birthday!

I’ll be back soon for my own cakes. (I’m thinking about heading back today.) If you’re interested in a more traditional Bundt cake, they sell those sizes, too. They also sell bite-sized Bundts, so you can eat more flavors in one sitting.

If you have a taste for a perfectly sized homemade treat, pop on over to the Appleton Bundt House.

It sits just off the southwest corner of Appleton Street and College Avenue.

You can find the Appleton Bundt House at 207 West College Avenue. It’s a cute place with lots of goodies.
