I got first dibs on my granddaughter to kick off a weekend I have been counting down the days to since Christmas.
All four of my adult kids will be together with me this weekend and we’re going to whoop it up.
The star of the festivities is their new little niece, Margo Lake. Later this morning they’ll meet her for the first time and I can’t wait to see their faces.
Ahead of all that excitement, I got to hang out with my little buddy and her parents, Charlie and Tara.
Spring is busting out all over the city they live in so we got to stroll through the blossoms and eat both lunch and dinner outside.
I love that.
